Unfortunately in most cases its asymptomatic, giving no attention to and thus allowing the development of the disease with fatal consequences for the teeth. The signs for realizing there is a problem in the periodontal are bleeding when brushing, sensitivity, odor and in more advanced cases tooth mobility, odor and bad-mouth taste.<\/p>\n<p>It is important to detect and treat these pathologies in a timely manner, otherwise, it is likely to lose the teeth and affect the overall health, as it has been proven its direct influence especially in heart disease, diabetes, osteoporosis, respiratory diseases, pregnancy and obesity.<\/p>\n<p>Periodontal disease is commonly known as &#8220;gum disease&#8221; and is considered a bacterial infection that attacks the gums, the alveolar bone and the periodontal ligaments (fibers that hold the tooth to the bone). The bacteria causing the infection is found in the dental plaque, which is a sticky mass which forms over the teeth. If this plaque is not properly removed by brushing and flossing during the day, it hardens forming a substance called rough porous calculus or tartar which harbors more bacteria. Toxins products of these bacteria are considered irritants and cause gum infection. If this condition is left untreated, the infection can result in bad breath, swollen gums, bleeding gums and eventually tooth loss.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][vc_column width=&#8221;1\/3&#8243;][vc_single_image image=&#8221;1874&#8243; img_size=&#8221;full&#8221; alignment=&#8221;center&#8221;][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=&#8221;1\/2&#8243;][vc_column_text]<strong>PERIODONTITIS<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>La enfermedad periodontal siempre inicia con la gingivitis que es inflamaci\u00f3n generalizada de la enc\u00eda, pero lamentablemente como no duele pocas veces el paciente se da cuenta y el problema se agudiza da\u00f1ando aun mas los tejidos, hasta que el hueso se empieza a afectar cambiando el nombre de la patolog\u00eda a periodontitis, si el problema no es tratado por un especialista las bacterias terminan por afectar el periodonto y los dientes terminan perdi\u00e9ndose uno por uno como efecto domino. Es importante detectar y tratar este problema lo mas pronto posible y de manera optima, las limpiezas convencionales solo disfrazan el problema porque no llegan hasta las zonas afectas es por esta raz\u00f3n que tienen que ser realizadas por un especialista.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][vc_column width=&#8221;1\/2&#8243;][vc_video link=&#8221;http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=OWeKjx1iCAs&#8221;][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=&#8221;1\/2&#8243;][vc_column_text]<strong>PERDIDA DE UN DIENTE<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Es muy lamentable la perdida de una pieza dental, no solo por la est\u00e9tica sino porque los dientes restantes sufren da\u00f1os tales como migraci\u00f3n por el exceso de espacio as\u00ed como tambi\u00e9n el diente antagonista al perdido sufre de una extruccion que con el tiempo produce que el diente se vaya saliendo, otra alteraci\u00f3n importante es la aplicaci\u00f3n de fuerzas mayores en los dientes restantes produciendo as\u00ed un da\u00f1o en el tejido periodontal.
